October 2022: Alexxtec translations for Lithuania

As a technical translation agency, we have been translating into Lithuanian since 2001, practically since our company was founded. In the last 30 years, investments from Europe have been coming to this small, beautiful country on the Baltic Sea, which has also attracted many investors to technical facilities. Our customers from Germany and Austria are mainly interested in the supply of products in the fields of mechanical engineering, woodworking machinery and energy plants. For this reason, translations of power engineering and electrical engineering into Lithuanian are also in great demand.

Other projects for Lithuania

Our end customers in Lithuania are state-owned enterprises as well as subsidiaries of some European companies such as IKEA. We have been involved in a major project in Lithuania for years - the construction and operation of the Giriu Bizonas plant for wood processing. And every large plant, as we know, is often modernised, as in our case. New parts are installed and the software is localised. The translations in both cases are carried out by our translation agency for its regular client.

We also take on complete work from a single source for Lithuanian projects: translations not only of operating instructions, but also software localisation, i.e. translations of the user interfaces of the plants and machines. Incidentally, we do this in all the languages we offer.
