Project October 2021

We don't set targets at the beginning of each year, but it is interesting to see how the number of orders develops each year. So far, it has increased continuously.

Our annual plan is fulfilled

By the end of October 2021, Alexxtec has already reached the number of projects of the previous year. Of course, by the end of the year we expect more orders that have already been announced. This means that in terms of numbers, we are in a better position than a year ago. Although, as we all know, this is not an easy year for the global economy.

Numerous production stoppages in factories alone, whether directly or indirectly related to the Corona virus, have had a significant impact on orders for new machinery and equipment from our customers. Many orders were postponed indefinitely. In particular, we have felt this in projects in Russia and Belarus.

The reasons for the upturn

Despite these facts, there are significantly more translation projects this year than a year before. The reasons are very clear. Again and again we are asked by old clients who have known us since the days of Russian translation projects to translate their projects in new language combinations such as German-English, English-French, German-Polish and other language pairs.

The reference list of our translation projects clearly shows where our strengths continue to lie. They are complicated technical translations, and in all the languages offered by our office.

Software localisation projects

In addition to traditional translations of technical documentation in print and online, the number of software localisations has increased at Alexxtec this year. Translations or localisation of industrial software, i.e. the translation of program interfaces of plants and machines, still predominate.

Power generation translations

Our translators are well acquainted with the current topic of energy production. We regularly carry out translations such as magazine articles on various ways of generating energy, coal-fired power plants, gas-fired power plants, nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power plants, wind turbines and solar power plants. We translate technical articles on conventional primary energy sources such as nuclear power (secondary energy: electricity), coal (secondary energy: electricity and heat), petroleum (secondary energy: electricity, heat and fuels), natural gas (secondary energy: Electricity, heat and fuels) as well as renewable primary energy sources such as biomass (secondary energy: electricity, heat and fuels), solar energy (secondary energy: electricity and heat), wind energy (secondary energy: electricity), hydropower (secondary energy: electricity), waste heat (secondary energy: heat).

Update April 2022

As if we could foresee the events in Ukraine and the related problems with energy supply, oil and natural gas prices on the world market, the topic of energy or energy production has become acute. We did not have our translators research the subject for nothing; it is now being talked about and discussed even more. In this context, our translation agency can provide professional technical translations on the subject of energy.
